Did you LOVE to burn, give, and plan during the month of February?
Did you passionately pursue those areas of your life that needed to be renewed and restored?
Did you change your thinking and begin to look forward to burning calories in new and creative ways? There's only one way to know: weigh in and measure your inches on March 1st...the proof is in the pudding!
Did you set aside dimes and dollars for needy causes without complaint or procrastination? Did your checking account, change purse, or piggy bank reflect your willingness to save or give more!?
Did you plan (and thus, spend) your time more wisely--more projects accomplished, more clutter tossed, and more goods given to charity? Make a mad dash to the finish line and organize "thy" life one block of time at a time!
Remember...we are heading into March...the FINAL FOUR WEEKS of our QTR 1 Series. (Note: If you want to sign up for QTR 2 and receive your chocolate striped journal in time, visit www.changeyourlifedaily.com and register now by March 10th. You can still join for the year by calling Reggie at 800-444-6189.)
Plus: "live" call is as usual--noon PST on Wednesday.
Be encouraged,
Becky

Wow, thanks for your accountability questions. I am anxious to do the weighing and measuring. I started Weight Watchers Jan 3 and have lost 12 pounds. But, I wanted it to go quicker so I am doing the 4 day jumpstart with the Flat Belly Diet this week. I have been going to our community gym - we have a family membership 5 - 6 times every week. But, I still need bunches of help on saving time and organizing. Thanks also for the reminder for the giving part.
I am so excited for tomorrow. I am on mid winter break from my work at the high school SO, this will be my VERY first live phone call. Looking forward to hearing the WHOO-WHOO live !!!!!!!!!!11
Jennygrace...
Great Report! Woo hoo...online:)!
Be encouraged,
Becky
Ok, I am following suggestion right away but only have a minute, will write later. You will never believe this, I hung up from our call and my husband called. He is on his way to pick me up to go to the gym !!!! So, I am going because I LOVE to burn calories ! Will catch up from call later today.
HEY EVERYONE !!!!! Let's EVERYBODY blog today to show Becky we appreciate the time and effort and love she has put into these calls and blogs. I only did my first blog yesterday and I apoligize for that.
Not ready to post on the topic yet, but Becky I know you mention Prevention magazine a lot.
Wanted to say, I went looking there for calorie burning/weight loss topics. They have a nice Body Mass Index calculator so you can see where you fit in that way, and some other nice features.
I'm hoping to find some conditioning/toning suggestions, as that is the key area I need help in (since I deal with arthritis).
Anyway, I dont think you'll mind me mentioning this!?
(woohoo........)
Jennygrace--your post made me laugh out loud! And that is what a great attitude does--it makes us happy before, during and after doing the right things!
Emmab--I love Prevention Magazine. I use it frequently for my 8 Daily To-Do postings, I subscribe to it and I found out about the Flat Belly Diet through it. FYI: I've been on the Flat Belly Diet for 6 months...I keep getting a flatter tummy and more fit body; I eat less, drink no soda, enjoy dark chocolate daily, and highly recommend it for anyone who needs a diet to work FOR them when exercise is less frequent. FYI2: I work out much less than ever and my weight and inches are at one of my all-time lows. It melts off fat around the belly especially...
Thank you Becky! Please know that with my profession I may not ever be able to join you live, but I wait for the day to end to get home and "dial in." Reflecting on the goals set the first week in January and on your question today, the accountability of working with this team has helped me realize two of the three goals set. I have achieved much with money and time. The calories did not achieve much of a change, but for me was the bottom of the priority. And, even here I have improved in that I am eating few empty calories and am eating much healthier. Thanks for the tips and the support. With faith, I move forward.
Becky, I wanted you to know that your prayers for my son, given to me many years ago, I think maybe 9 years ago or so have been answered.I came to hear you speak at a seminar in Michigan ( not calvary, a few years before that) and you prayed with me. He is attending church and his girlfriend has now become a Christian. We got the surprising news that they are getting married this summer in California. So,now I AM THE ONE who will be losing weight to fit into a beautiful mother of the groom dress on a beach this summer. Thanks for your example, I will send you a pic of me after the wedding.I would have never guessed when i signed up for this group I would want to lose weight for that reason, like you did .
From the call this week I thought you must have been peeking in on my life. I have a real problem with procratination and you described my life. I make lists and think about things in my mind but I don't do the actual first step. So, i am always behind in everything and my to do list gets overwhelming. BUT, somehow I find time to watch my fav TV shows. Please pray for me !
Ok
I wanted to post...and wanted to put some thought into it.

Weekly (end of Feb) update:
Well, on the loving to cut calories/exercise front, I am really good about walking the dogs when my husband wants to go. I cant walk them alone, one is too big. Working on a plan to get my elderly Mom involved in walking too on days when our schedules meet. Food wise, my biggest problem is just not eating at all.
They think I have some slow stomach emptying from diabetes, so little meals are better than big ones.
Loving to Plan: I did something I always wanted to do today. I made an appointment with my best friend, and she started teaching me to crochet. I have been meaning to learn for years. She made me keep the apppointment, and I got away from daily stress. Yeah! Also still trying to get all my lists into one planner and also utilize my journal.
Giving: Our small business has been hurting. I havent been able to pay myself for about two months, and have had to dip into emergency funds. I did increase tithe at church, because they had to lay some people off. Giving is way down there.
We've been cutting some expenses, and all of a sudden I am getting money from unexpected places. Traded in two vehicles to go to one, got an unexpected surplus from the bank plus they lowered our interest rate twice. Got another check from business insurance over-payment. Things like that.
I am praying our business will pick up, which it looks like it may soon for spring. Want to increase my giving to certan ministries I currently support.
Sorry if this is too long!!
Looking forward to Wed.
I just listened to the playback. My schedule does not always allow me to be on the live call. I appreciate the playback. So far..burning calories..I am involved in doing some type of work out four days a week. That is huge for me. I intend to add more cardio..walking or using my efx machine. Giving...I think there is evidence that in the past I have used shopping to soothe myself. No matter what needed to be soothed. I am thankful to report that I am "happily" passing by things I might have bought. It hasn't been hard at all. In fact it feels really good!!! So coins are going into a can for give away.
Planning..I love to write lists and block times. However, today (and the last call) have been "Eureka" moments. To write down what I will be doing in 15 minute or hour increments is wonderful. Now I can refine it as I realistically determine how long a task will take me. I don't think I have ever intentionally alloted enough time for the things I intend to get done. So thanks Becky.
g.m.v.
Your remark on shopping got to me, because I have long done the same thing. Used to buy something every Fri. Haven't had the money for months, so I stopped. Today I went out and decided I 'deserved' a treat. Well, I bought a book that was already on my shelf! Learned my lesson, will give this copy as gift and learn to be happy with what I have.
For Emma,
I can totally identify with buying books I already have. Glad we can encourage each other.
